Hello,
lovelies~ Who still uses soap or body wash in a bar form? *raises own hand*
Yup, I still prefer bar soap compared to liquid because I feel cleaner and I
can get foam in every nook and cranny of my skin. So excited to find out a new shop
that makes soap bars. Please welcome, SABOON.ID!
The soap bar
is packaged individually in a geometric patterned paper that is then sealed
with kraft paper with detailed information of the product. I love the
packaging, probably because I’m into geometric shapes at the moment, lol. Each
soap weighs differently, but they’re roughly around 70-100 grams.
Before you
read further, I want to let you know about my skin condition, specifically my
arms and legs. Unlike my combination-oily facial skin, my legs and arms are
categorized as very dry. As in flaky, dry skin that you can see with your eyes
without using microscope. Now that it’s out of the way, let’s get on with the
review.
Serene Breeze
Right off the bat, this soap bar looks beautiful with the
different shades of blue in each layer. The prettiness doesn’t stop there; it
has glitters on top of the bar. It contains shea butter that helps to
moisturize your skin, keeping it soft and smooth.
Since the name of the soap is
ocean-related, I thought it would have a seaweed, salty scent, lol. In fact,
this soap bar has a refreshing green tea scent that is perfect for those mornings
when you need a pick me up. It creates a nice lather and lots of bubbles, fun.
Coconut Milk & Honey
Made with
coconut milk and honey, this soap bar is especially made for those with dry
skin as it helps brings back moisture to the skin. Unlike Serene Breeze, this
soap doesn’t give much lather, but it does feel more moisturizing on my skin.
I’m not quite fond of the scent, but if you’re into soft honey-like scent, then
this is for you.
Overall, I had fun using these soap bars as they feel
moisturizing and gives off a nice scent to start my mornings. It’s not the most
moisturizing soap for my legs, but it is moisturizing enough for my arms. My
legs can only be moisturized if I use body oil right after a shower, no matter
what soap I use be it liquid or that other bar soap that is ¾ made with
moisturizing ingredients with a bird logo. You know the one.
Have you tried the soap bars from Saboon ID before? I’ve
tried their other variants, but I’ll just write it in another blog post. Let me
know in the comments below what you think of them. Thanks for reading and until

These soaps are good-looking, Stephanie. Especially the blue one. Do you know where I can buy these? I tried to look for Saboon ID in Lazada, but I couldn't find one.
