Rosken Dry Skin Cream Review

Hello, lovelies~ Taking a break from reviewing makeup because I just had a procedure done to my face yesterday. I will blog about it soon, just when it' already healed. In the mean time, here is a skincare review~

I was at Guardian a few months ago and stumbled upon a tube of the Rosken Dry Skin Cream in the body lotion section. Priced at around Rp 50,000 for 75 ml, I thought it was a fair price to just try it out.

Using a mix of glycerin, olive fruit oil and mineral oil, this cream will help draw moisture from the environment and keep the skin moist. Despite the cream texture, it isn't sticky and heavy, possibly due to the dimethicone content. As for preservatives, it uses imidazolidinyl urea and probably one of the most controversial ingredient the beauty industry nowadays because it induces cancer, the parabens.

Honestly, I'm tired reading all those negative comments about how parabens causes breast cancer. That was one research and even that one is nowhere near being conclusive. However, since society has read about cancer and parabens, it causes mass hysteria over that one research. Don't get me started over the sampling of the research...

Okay, Phanie, calm down.

*clears throat*

To continue with the review, the cream claims to be able to double the skin moisture levels, making the skin softer and smoother within just 4 days of using. The white cream has a thick consistency, where it wouldn't fall when it's flipped upside down.

It blends effortlessly into the skin, leaving no sticky or greasy feeling on my skin. The cream just sinks in, without any fight, lol. It does make my skin moist for a longer period of time compared to other creams in the market.

This is probably one of my favorite body creams for dry skin.

Have you tried any of the Rosken products? Let me know what you think about them in the comments below. Thanks for reading and until then, I'll see you later~
