Nichijou : Mosquito Hunt and Face MasksWednesday, September 17, 2014
Hello, lovelies~ I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Just wanted to type in a few things for my log the past few weekends. Memories are made to be remembered in future, yes?
Lately, I have been addicted to reading a magazine from Japan called La Farfa. It's a fashion magazine that is targeted for plus size girls or marshmallow girls as they call them in Japan. couldn't blame them, I am bouncy like a marshmallow, lol.
Aside from binging on chocolate sprinkles and cheese on toast, I had a huge craving for nasi uduk, so we went to Sate Khas Senayan. I didn't have any nasi uduk stalls near my house, lol. Nasi uduk is an Indonesian dish where they flavor the rice with coconut milk and served it with sides, such as sliced egg, tempe, nuts, corn fritters, etc.
The weather has been very friendly, especially for those living near the sea. I think it was raining far in the sea a couple of days ago because the afternoon ocean breeze feels cool that I can't resist brainstorming ideas near the window. I have been living near the beach ever since I was 9 years old because of my asthma, but this time the breeze is so relaxing and soothing. *feels breeze on my cheeks*
As for the weekend, Mr. G and I spent it playing video games on our PC. Yes, there is a mosquito racket on his table. There has been lots of mosquitoes lately, I don't know why. So many of them that Mr. G is determined to hunt them down, one by one like this photo below.
So, how was your weekend? Let me know in the comments below and until then, I'll see you later~
P.S: For those loving yukata and anything related to Japan, you can check out a website called FUN! JAPAN or click the banner below. You can get a chance to win a yukata straight from Japan. I'm also entering, good luck to you (and me!)! Ganbatte!
