Nichijou : Our Special Day (part III)

Hello, lovelies~ We have arrived to part three, which happens to be the last part of the wedding story. This last part I'm about to tell you is about the reception. Let's just start, shall we?

Next stop : OnFive Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta. Traffic wasn't really forgiving that night. Ah, right. There was a night festival near the area. That must've been the cause. I just hope all our friends and relatives were able to make it for the celebration.

As the long hand of the clock was approaching the number twelve, we were told to get ready to enter the reception hall where our guests waited. The music from 98 Degrees played in the background, uttering the words 'I Do' repeatedly.

It's our time to get going as the music kept on playing.

(♪ I do, cherish you
For the rest of my life
You don't have to think twice ♪)
The dreaded staircase.

(♪ I will love you still
From the depths of my soul
It's beyond my control ♪)

I've never been a huge fan of going up the stairs in a big, puffy dress. Nonetheless, I marched on (gracefully, of course) with my trusty glittery gold flats and arms around my husband.

(♪ I've waited so long to say this to you ♪)

"Look at the crowd," I told myself as I walked inside the room heading to the stage.

(♪ If you're asking do I love this much.. ♪)

"They're all here."

(♪ I do... ♪)

After a few words from Mr. G, we cut the cake and gave it to our parents. .

And each other, of course.

Champagne was poured and filled the other glasses beneath it. It wasn't champagne though, if I'm not mistaken. lol.

The night was filled with laughter. Not even a frown in sight. Some were enjoying the food, some danced the night away. Others drowned in conversation with old friends from afar.

Let's not forget the throwing of the bouquet. A friend of my brother's caught it. Rather 'energized', I might add. Ah, youth~ ^_^

Mingled among the guests as we don't like to stand on the stage for too long. I met my blogger friends that makes me super happy! Thank you for coming ya~ ^_^

So glad that our friends from uni could come and join in the celebration on our wedding day.

His gaming friends from the GARUDA clan came, too. Naturally, he boasted his Aghanim boutonniere to everyone in the clan.

The party wouldn't be lively without the band, of course.

My brother's friends. I'm gonna sound like an auntie, but they used to be so small when they came to the house to play with my brother. Awh~

My friend for 19 years, who was also my wedding organizer.

That is pretty much our wedding day story that I can share with you lovely readers. Let me end this post with my favorite sonnet from Shakespeare.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Thanks for reading and until then, I'll see you later~
