NYX Chunky Dunk Hydrating Lippies Review and Swatch

“Disclosure: I bought this product with my own money. I am neither affiliated with this company nor am I being paid to write this post. My opinions are honest and my own.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ Just when I thought I've had enough lip products in my beauty collection, a new collection from NYX came out not too long ago. Being a self-proclaimed product junkie, I went ahead and got three of them.
NYX came out with yet another jumbo-pencil-like products for the lips and called it 'Hydrating Lippie'. They didn't even bother to call them lipstick and label them lippies, making it feel more casual. Hmm, me likey~

DOAPJ DIY : Coffee Body Scrub

Hello, lovelies~ I know I've been a tea-kinda-girl, but I have been cheating with its other counterpart lately, lol. Coffee. I have gulping down at least two 6-oz cup every other day, it seems like there's no stopping me.

I bought the coffee beans to later grind it myself at home before brewing it. It taste much better compare to pre-ground ones. With that being said, the coffee grounds are always there thrown in the rubbish bin. Lately, however, I have been collecting them in a plastic container as to not waste them further. I've even told my brother to keep his coffee grounds in that plastic container, as well.

What am I going to do with used coffee grounds, you say?

Two words, lovelies.

Nichijou : Our Special Day (part III)

Hello, lovelies~ We have arrived to part three, which happens to be the last part of the wedding story. This last part I'm about to tell you is about the reception. Let's just start, shall we?

Next stop : OnFive Grand Hyatt Hotel Jakarta. Traffic wasn't really forgiving that night. Ah, right. There was a night festival near the area. That must've been the cause. I just hope all our friends and relatives were able to make it for the celebration.

As the long hand of the clock was approaching the number twelve, we were told to get ready to enter the reception hall where our guests waited. The music from 98 Degrees played in the background, uttering the words 'I Do' repeatedly.

It's our time to get going as the music kept on playing.

(♪ I do, cherish you
For the rest of my life
You don't have to think twice ♪)
The dreaded staircase.

(♪ I will love you still
From the depths of my soul
It's beyond my control ♪)

I've never been a huge fan of going up the stairs in a big, puffy dress. Nonetheless, I marched on (gracefully, of course) with my trusty glittery gold flats and arms around my husband.

(♪ I've waited so long to say this to you ♪)

"Look at the crowd," I told myself as I walked inside the room heading to the stage.

(♪ If you're asking do I love this much.. ♪)

"They're all here."

(♪ I do... ♪)

After a few words from Mr. G, we cut the cake and gave it to our parents. .

And each other, of course.

Champagne was poured and filled the other glasses beneath it. It wasn't champagne though, if I'm not mistaken. lol.

The night was filled with laughter. Not even a frown in sight. Some were enjoying the food, some danced the night away. Others drowned in conversation with old friends from afar.

Let's not forget the throwing of the bouquet. A friend of my brother's caught it. Rather 'energized', I might add. Ah, youth~ ^_^

Mingled among the guests as we don't like to stand on the stage for too long. I met my blogger friends that makes me super happy! Thank you for coming ya~ ^_^

So glad that our friends from uni could come and join in the celebration on our wedding day.

His gaming friends from the GARUDA clan came, too. Naturally, he boasted his Aghanim boutonniere to everyone in the clan.

The party wouldn't be lively without the band, of course.

My brother's friends. I'm gonna sound like an auntie, but they used to be so small when they came to the house to play with my brother. Awh~

My friend for 19 years, who was also my wedding organizer.

That is pretty much our wedding day story that I can share with you lovely readers. Let me end this post with my favorite sonnet from Shakespeare.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Thanks for reading and until then, I'll see you later~

Nichijou : Our Special Day (part II)

Hello, lovelies~ Picking up where I left off on the first part of our wedding day, here is the second part. I hope you enjoy reading it~

14:30. The clock sets a gentle reminder that we were to be husband and wife in front of the whole church. Bunda Hati Kudus church, to be exact.

Nichijou : Our Special Day

Hello, lovelies~ I have been wanting to blog about this ever since the day after the wedding, but I waited for the photos to get developed. It'll be easier to tell the story with pictures, right? After about a month, here is the story.

I'm gonna divide the story into three parts, so it won't be an overload of photos in just one single post. I hope you enjoy this post, so let's get to it.

It was the morning of June the 14th. I got up early, around six a.m, did my morning routine before heading down to breakfast with my family. Mr. G was still asleep as it was the first night of World Cup 2014. After breakfast, the preparations began.

Beauty Boo Hoos (pt. 2)

Hello, lovelies~ I know I haven't posted on my regular schedule lately, but I promise I will soon. Just have some things to tend to, apparently. Gomen kudasai~

I wanted to post a summer tag, but~ lately, the weather has been nothing but rain and rain and rain. An occasional thunderstorm, even. I didn't think it would be appropriate, but I will post it soon, probably after this one. (hopefully)

In this post, I wanted to share a couple of beauty products that didn't do too well on my currently combination/oily skin type.

ZA Compact Powder
I grew up with this compact ever since I was in the 8th grade. Of course I was a tomboy back then and kept it a secret from everyone that I use powder, lol. Yes, I am that shallow. Don't judge #kthxbye.

Anyhoo, I have been breaking out from it recently, so I'm not sure if my skin is developing reactions towards it or the formulation has been changed. :(

Fragrance Friday : Yankee Candle Beach Walk

“Disclosure: I bought this product with my own money. I am neither affiliated with this company nor am I being paid to write this post. My opinions are honest and my own.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ This time on Fragrance Friday, I am going to talk about my current favorite candle from an American brand, namely Yankee Candle. I bought them at ACE Hardware and this is one of the few candles that I like from them.

The name is also one of the factors that made me buy it. Although, come to think of it, kinda silly purchasing something that smells like the beach when I live near one, lol. But, hey, this doesn't come with the pollution-factory-scent, so that's always a plus.

DOAPJ DIY : Makeup Remover Pads

Hello, lovelies~ I haven't done a DIY project in the longest time, possibly because of the current schedule I'm having. Nonetheless, I had a great time last weekend and tried out a DIY to help remove makeup using baby products.

I found loads of the 'concoction' on Pinterest, but after a couple of trials, here is one that I've tweaked. Let's get a few thing ready, shall we?

Fragrance Friday : Crabtree and Evelyn Lily edt

“Disclosure: I bought this product with my own money. I am neither affiliated with this company nor am I being paid to write this post. My opinions are honest and my own.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ Welcome to the first segment of 'Fragrance Friday'~ Although I'm not sure how long this segment will last considering the life of my other previous segments, lol. Hey, as long as we're all happy, it shouldn't really matter, right? ^_^;;

As the title suggests, I will be talking about perfumes, body sprays, body mists, candles, and anything else that has a scent/fragrance to it. To be completely honest with you, I'm still not sure about this segment as I don't have a great descriptive skill when it comes to fragrances. I do have allergies, thus rendering my sense of smell to a different level.
Okay, the first one to start of this segment is one from Crabtree & Evelyn called Lily edt. If you haven't already known by now, Crabtree & Evelyn categorizes their scents into their main ingredient. For instance, there are a collection of Lily, Jasmine, Peony, etc. They don't have creative names like Thunder from the Heavens or Broken Wings of a Butterly or whatnot. *those are just made up names, fyi. lol*

5 Beauty Habits for the Summer

Hello, lovelies~ In a place where it's (nearly) always summer time, we need to take extra good care of our skin, so the sun's rays would have no chance in damaging it. As we've only stepped out from the rainy season, here are a few things that I changed for my beauty habits.

1) Wearing a body lotion with sunscreen in it

I don't have to repeat myself like a broken recorder on how damaging those UVA & UVB rays are, so it's always handy to have sunscreen for your body.
