L'Occitane au Brésil

Hello, lovelies~ World Cup 2014 in Brazil is nearly upon us, who's excited? I know I am! Couldn't really say that I've been updated with football news when I graduated from uni, but it's always exciting to see the matches between clubs. Now, it's between countries!

Brazil not only celebrates World Cup this year, but also a new dynamic range from my favorite French brand, L'Occitane en Provence.  The founder, Olivier Baussan, collaborated with a bunch of Brazillian artists and created L'Occitane au Brésil.

I was invited to the press event last Wednesday, so I went straight from my practice with Mr. G. I know, Mr. G makes quite a lot of appearances in my blog lately, huh? lol.

The event took place at SKYE Bar and Restaurant over at Menara BCA. I've never been here before because I've heard of the queues to get in. You know me, I'm super duper ultra lazy when it comes to queuing. At the registration, we were given scarves and an instant photo studio using all the props to make it very 'World Cup'-ish.

As soon as I ventured the restaurant, I know why people love going here. It's the view, man! I'm definitely coming back here with Mr. G and my brother. The photo above is one of the line from their Brazil collection, Vitória-Régia (night time), that consists of a cologne and a bar soap that is shaped like a water lily in Brazil.

The next line is from a tree called Jenipapo that has a protecting and hydrating properties. With a floral-fruity fragrance, this collection offers a range of skin care products that consists of a roll-on perfume oil, SPF 30 face mist, SPF 15 body oil, SPF 15 lip balm, and a transparent bar soap. Perfect for those who has activities outdoor.

The last one is from the same plant, Vitória-Régia, but one from the day time collection. Yes, there are two scents from the same plant. It is said that the plant has a versatility that enables it to change the color of their petals and the scent of the flower depending on the time of day. The green colored packaging above has a fresh scent that is known for their day time scent.

The day time collection consists of eau de cologne, hand cream, shower gel, transparent bar soap, and body milk, whereas the night time Vitória-Régia collection consists of only the flower-shaped bar soap and eau de cologne.

The day continued with more festivities ranging from limbo to face painting. There were samba and capoeira and yummy foods~ We had a blast, even Mr. G participated in doing the limbo and won me an umbrella! Thank you~

I can't wait to get the day time cologne because it smells so fresh that I would love to wear it all day! Have you heard about the L'Occitane au Bresil collection? Will you be willing to try it? Let me know in the comments below and until then, I'll see you later~
