Current Hair Care Routine

Hello, lovelies~ I am currently growing out my hair for ze wedding, so I can have an updo, lol. Otherwise, it'll be too short to have such updo. Since I don't have the guts to try out new things on my face right now, I'll just share my hair care routine in this post~

Once every two days, I wash my hair using a non silicone shampoo only on my scalp, not on my hair ends. This method helps to reduce any excess oil on my scalp during the second day. I massage it for a few minutes to get the dirt and excess oil off. After that, I just rinsed everything off and repeat if I feel the need to do it.

The shampoo I'm currently using is between the Ginvera Green Tea & Pomelo Shampoo and Pantene Lively Clean. Both are silicone free, but they do contain SLS, so those who dyed their hair may want to avoid these shampoos as they can fade your hair color faster compared to non-SLS shampoos.

Moving on to conditioner, I use a fully-silicone-loaded just on my hair ends. I find that this helps to lock in moisture to my dry hair ends. In the shower, I opted for either Dove Daily Moisture or L'Oreal Nourishing Conditioner, both targeted for dry hair.

If the weather is extremely hot that day, which is a potential for drying out the ends of my hair, I use an oil-based leave-in treatment to ensure the moisture on my dry ends. Currently, I switch between Lucio-L and L'Occitane en Provence Dry Oil.

When my hair is looking oily before my scheduled shampoo-day, I would tie some of it back and wash only the fringe. That's one of the things I do to keep my fringe looking fresh and not oily/lifeless.

Well, that's what I did for my hair and I do feel that I have lesser split ends compared to those days before my pre wedding photo. That is split ends galore~ Anyways, share in the comments down below what your favorites or hair care routine is, until then, I'll see you later~ ^_^
