Review Sulwhasoo Essential Line Gentle Cleansing Oil

“Disclosure: This product was sent to me for review purposes in exchange for my honest opinion after trying it out.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ If you have been reading my blog for a long time, you must know how I'm always repeating the words 'double cleansing'. I can't stress enough the importance of having clean skin that is free from dirt and grime at the end of the day before bed time. Hence, the regular use of cleansing oil is a must for my night time skincare routine.

This time, I am trying out the gentle cleansing oil from Sulwhasoo's Essential Line Holiday Set. You can see the set right here.

This cleansing oil is packed in a pump bottle with a secure lock, so it's easier to take it during travel. Just to make sure, place it in a plastic bag to ensure the safety, okay?

As for the ingredients of this cleansing oil, it is free from mineral oil and/or petroleum. It uses Job's Tears (Coix Lacryma-Jobi) seed and Tangerine peel extract to help remove any impurities on the skin. They added Apricot Kernel oil to help remove dead skin cells so it will be extra clean.

The consistency of the gentle cleansing oil is like any other oil with quite a strong herbal scent that may be off putting to some who are sensitive to smells. I find that it smells almost similar to that of cajuput oil, but this one is more subtle.

Removing my makeup is easy with this because all I did was place two pumps of oil on my hand and massage that evenly all over my dry face that are still filled with makeup. After that is just a matter of rinsing it with water and patting it with a towel to dry.

It is able to remove most of my daily makeup which consisted of BB cream, blush, powder, brow powder, and lipstick. After rinsing, it doesn't leave a greasy residue, but there isn't a tight feeling, so it is neither too oily nor too drying on my skin.

Overall, if you're not to bothered by herbal scents, give this cleansing oil a try. It is suitable for most skin types to remove any excess oil or dirt from your face without any greasiness afterwards.
