Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Review

“Disclosure: This product was sent to me for review purposes in exchange for my honest opinion after trying it out.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ Have I told you lately that the sun is bad for our skin? Well, I mean the rays after 9 a.m., that is. It is capable of damaging our skin, resulting in fine lines, wrinkles, and sun spots. In other words, the sun (or its rays) ages us faster than normal.

What if you already have damages from the sun, you ask? Don’t worry. The fine lines and wrinkles can be treated with skincare, but for those with severe sun spots (like mine) can ‘lasered’ out of existence. In this post, I am going to review a serum from Clinique that promises to help treat any damages from the sun, such as fine lines.

The serum comes in a white bottle with a pipette on the end of the dispenser. It is more practical than jar because it is more hygienic and precise in the drops used on my face. It would be even better to have an airless bottle pump packaging since it will further minimize any air exposure that can potentially damage the ingredients inside.

Ingredients for the serum consisted of a mixture between plant extracts, caffeine, vitamin C, and sodium hyaluronate. Most of the ingredients function to further hydrate the skin.

The consistency of the serum is almost gel-like and quite moisturizing on my skin. It does take a while for it to be fully absorbed, but the results are satisfactory. Once it is fully absorbed, there is no sticky feeling on my face.
This is the skin condition before any serum is applied.

Clinique gives moisture without adding more oils to the skin like Brand X.
My skin feels very plump and well hydrated right after I applied this serum. It feels slightly sticky after a few seconds of application, but after about a minute, my skin feels soft and smooth. After about a month of usage, I noticed my cheeks feel firmer.

Within a month of using, I notice my skin feels a lot firmer than before using the serum. My fine lines on my forehead is still present, so I guess I need to use it for a lot longer to see the effect.

Packed in an opaque pipette bottle, this vitamin C packed serum helps diminishes appearances of fine lines on my face. It also made my face well hydrated that my skin feels less oily lately. It does feel a little sticky when it first applied, but I like the firmness it gives to my face.

Thanks for reading this review, until then, I'll see you later~
