Sampled It!: JUARA Rice Facial Cleanser

“Disclosure: I bought this product with my own money. I am neither affiliated with this company nor am I being paid to write this post. My opinions honest and my own.” Complete disclosure here

Hello, lovelies~ As per the title of this post, you can probably already tell that this will involved samples. I thought it would be nice to share my thoughts on beauty samples, be it sachet samples or deluxe samples. These posts aims to determine whether the full size product is worth to be repurchased. I, for one, am not too keen on reviewing samples on my blog, but I have loads of them right now, so why not, right?

Right, let's start with the first one, JUARA skincare. This brand made me inquisitive since they claim to use all natural ingredients and is free from sulfates, phtalates and parabens. I got their Rice Cleanser from Lolabox July edition along with JUARA Sweet Black Tea Eye Creme and JUARA Sweet Black Tea and Rice Facial Moisturizer.

Priced at USD $25 for a face wash, it suffice to say that it is a high-end skincare product. It is, however, sulfate-free, so it may be suitable for those who have dry skin. Sulfates have a tendency to strip the natural oil from your skin, leaving your dry skin even drier after washing your face. There is sweet tea scent when I use this to wash my face.

The face doesn't create much foam due to the absence of sulfate, which can a be a hit or miss, depending on your skin type. As I've mentioned before, sulfates dry out your skin, so the lack of sulfates is a hit for those with dry skin or those who doesn't like a 'squeaky-clean' feel after washing their face.It is a miss for those who likes to wash their face with lots of foam.

I tried using a foaming net to make more foam, but it just doesn't give much, despite doubling the amount of face wash. I guess it would really suit those with dry skin.
Using double the amount of the second picture.
I feel that it cleanses my face well, despite the 'squeaky-clean' feel afterwards. It doesn't dry out my skin, like most face washes do. It does what it's supposed to do which is remove the dirt and grime from my face, like any other face wash.

Probably not.

$25 for a cleanser is over my budget for a face wash, something I go through very fast since I use it twice a day.

Well, that was fun. I hope to do more Sampled It! blog posts since it is kinda like a mini review. Due to the small amount of product, so it may not stretch out to two weeks like my full size product review. Anyway, have have you tried any of the JUARA skincare products? Let me know if you have (or haven't) in the comments below and until then, I'll see you later~
