Weekend Project: Candle Glass Jar

Hello, lovelies~ I love to light scented candles when I am feeling down or when I'm writing a blog post. The scent fills the air and my mood is usually happier than I was before I light a candle. I usually go for candle jars because after the candle is finished, I can use the jar for other things.

However, there is always that pesky leftover wax that can't be burned entirely. So, these are the steps I usually do to get rid of the excess wax and turn the jar into something useful.

Once it has frozen completely, taking out the wax is really easy since it has separated from the jar. All I did was take a bread knife to loosen the edges and flip it over. It's that easy.

After the wax is out of the jar, all I did was take olive oil to clean up the excess wax that still sticks on the jar. It shouldn't be too hard to do this since oil breaks up the wax. Right after that, it's on to cleaning the stickers and I'm done!

The jar is now clean and ready to be used. It can be used to store accessories or cotton rounds or anything else. Here are two examples of what to store inside the clear glass jar.

I have plans on what to store in this jar, but that is still to come. I think the jar will look cuter is there is a label on the front, but I'm not good with designs, so I skipped doing that. What do you think will great to store in that jar? Let me know in the comments below and until then, I'll see you later~
