Hello, lovelies~ You may be wondering why I haven't updated my blog recently. Well, let's just say that I have things to tend to in my life. I have been a little preoccupied with a few things, so I may look like I've deserted you, LOL. You know I won't desert for anything in the world, right?
So, a couple of days ago, I went to Malang with Mr. G for nyekar purposes. I'm not quite sure what nyekar is in English, but it is a tradition here where we go to the cemetery, pray for the deceased and place flowers on top of the grave. Hmm, kinda like paying our respects. It's been a year since we last went there, so this Christmas we planned on going there.
The weather was cloudy with a slight drizzle of rain when we arrived at Abdul Rachman Saleh airport. Luckily, it wasn't raining cats and dogs, else I'd be very afraid in the plane. We arrived at the accomodation safely and didn't immediately go to the cemetery since it was already dark and raining. Plus, it was already late in the evening, so we decided to go the first thing tomorrow morning.Unfortunately, we woke up late and skipped breakfast. We went straight to the cemetery for nyekar. The weather was blazing hot that day and I didn't bring an umbrella. Oh, well.
