L'Occitane Sorbet Verbenna Body Ice Gel Review

Hello, lovelies~ Lately, I have been hooked on L'Occitane, be it skincare or body care products. Probably because I am intrigued by their packaging and scents. I feel like I have to stop by their store every time I passed by it. A month ago, I bought the Sorbet Verbenna Body Lotion at L'Occitane Emporium Pluit for Rp 350,000 (250ml). Expensive? Yup.

The body lotion (or gel) is a light greenish yellow fluid that is packaged in a plastic bottle with an embossed leaf and label on the surface. So simple, yet it's easy on the eyes.

The end of the dispenser is a flip top, so it's easy to pour and secure it back again. However, I do feel that the flip top cap may be a little small for me. It took me a while to open it, but I guess that mean that it's secure. It just looks tasteful, with the small cap. I just wanna open and close it all day. ^_^

On the side of the bottle is the description of the product, along with the ingredients list and Braille writing. It contains alcohol, so it may be a little drying as a body gel. However, there are other moisturizing ingredients in the gel such as Lemon Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Extract, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil, and Peppermint Oil. See all those moisturizing oils and extracts?! That is what I like most about L'Occitane and their ingredients, they don't put it at the end of the list, like other companies. Okay, okay, back to the review.

The body gel has a citrusy scent that finishes off with a minty scent. I just love it! This is one of the main reason I bought this body gel. I use this sparingly as it is expensive. Yes, I'm a cheapskate, sue me, lol. It feels lightweight, non sticky and non greasy on my skin. Once it touches my skin, I can feel its cooling sensation all over. It's just perfect to use after I took a shower! However, I do feel that this body gel isn't moisturizing enough for my driest areas (such as my legs), but suits perfectly for my arms.

To sum up, I love its cooling sensation that is non sticky and non greasy, but doesn't moisturize my driest areas. Well, that is the downside of this product aside from the price, of course. Hey, what can I say? I like the scent. ^_^
