Review: Ocean Potion Instant Dry Mist SPF 50+

Hello, lovelies~ Are you ready? It is important to always wear sunscreen, at least, 15 minutes before you go out of the house. I bet you're tired of these words that I repeated over and over and over and over again. It is important, though!! Very!! Having said that, however, I, too, sometimes forget to apply it all over my arms and legs. I never forget to apply it on my face, but arms and legs are just areas I forgot to apply. Especially with all the sticky and greasy sunscreen, I sometimes skip applying them. I know, guilty as charged, Your Honor. Even Mr. G applies his sunscreen religiously, how can I not?

Okay, before I starting to talk and drift off somewhere else, I found a solution to my ickiness towards greasy sunscreens. A spray type! This time, I wanted to try the new Ocean Potion Sunscreen Mist, in the hopes of non greasy body sunscreen. I bought this at Watsons when it was on sale for Rp 113,000. It has a 177ml of sunscreen inside the sleek and rather tall bottle.

The sunscreen mist comes in an aerosol bottle with an orange spray dispenser at the top end. It has a light purple mashed with a white color for the label design and the words ' Anti Aging Sunblock'. Well, I guess this is an old edition of sunscreen because I read in Allure and FDA that they're not allowed to say sunblock on their products anymore, rather sunscreen is the more appropriate term, but I digress.

This is a chemical type sunscreen, in which it absorbs the UV rays and converts it into something else that is less harmful for our body. It uses Homosalate, Octisalate, Oxybenzone, Avobenzone and Octocrylene as the chemical sunscreen. For a moisturized feeling, they have Glycerin in there, as well. It has SD Alcohol 40, which I'm still on the fence on using it or not. However, so far, it hasn't felt drying. Funny thing about this is how it smells like. I don't quite like the scent, but Mr. G says it smells like coffee and/or chocolate. To my nose, it smells very chemical with a hint of sweetness at the end.

The spray can turned to the left and be locked, so it won't spill in my bag if things get all wonky and whatnot. It emits a fine mist that is enough to cover my whole forearm, without having to press the spray cap a long time. Afterwards, I just sprayed it over my arms and legs or I just let it dry, depends on my mood that day.

Overall, I think this is suitable for people who are lazy at applying body sunscreen just like myself. I would repurchase this should I run out of it.
