Review: DAISO Sponge Detergent

Hello, lovelies~ I'm back with a review from one of my favorite stores in Jakarta, DAISO. I frequented this store often because it has cute things and all of them are priced at Rp 22,000 (around USD $2.29). I was surprised to see a sponge detergent finally present there! I bought two of them straight away, without even knowing their reputation.

The sponge detergent has a runny consistency, very similar to water, but it is slightly cloudy. I, personally, like this property because I can immediately swirl them and create frothy bubbles without the need of adding more water onto the palm of my hand. I used about a teaspoon of detergent, give or take to clean a brush.

It cleans my Sigma F80 brush easily even though it is very dirty to begin with. I use it to blend my foundation, mind you. It takes off all of the dirt and grime in one go! Good enough for me. I start by dampening my brush under running water before swirling it on the palm of my hand. I then rinse it after swirling it for a good 30 seconds. Watch the video below to see the demonstration of how to clean the brushes. Turn on the caption for English~ Subscribe if you haven't already. ^_^

I like how it cleanses my brushes easily and gave them a subtle, fresh scent afterwards. Even though it said 'Sponge detergent', I feel that it can be used for brushes because the bristles stayed soft after each wash. I find this product very efficient because I don't have to use a conditioner afterwards to make my brushes soft. I would repurchase this product since it is only Rp 22,000 a bottle and it works to clean my brushes.
