My Morning Must-Do's

Hello, lovelies~ I try to bring out fresh, new content to my blog, just so you don't get bored. I hope you have been enjoying my blog so far and don't hesitate to leave comments or suggestions. ^_^ Let's get a move on, shall we? Now. Let's just kickstart this blog post with the things that I do everyday in the morning, beauty-wise. At least, it's in my morning routine.

DO drink a glass or two of warm water

I always keep a thermos of water on my bedside table. As soon as the birds are chirping outside my window, waking me up, I immediately pour it on a glass and drink it. It is always best keep yourself hydrated and jump starts your body for the day. Your organs will thank you for keeping them hydrated for the rest of the day.

DO use a citrus-y, fresh scent for body wash

I'm not always a morning person. This type of scent has always been in the 'energizing' category in my book. I always opt for something fruity for a morning shower. My recent favorite body wash has been Dove Energize because it smells citrusy and fresh!

DO apply sunscreen with a minimal SPF 30/ PA ++

Whenever there's rain, shine or even hail, a sunscreen is always a must in my book. I pick a non-greasy sunscreen that tend to have matte finishes, without that additional stickiness. I apply sunscreen on my face, body and even lips. That is how scared I am of the sun. Make sure to apply at least one to two teaspoons for the face and neck area

DO apply perfume on pulse points

By pulse point, I mean the spots where you can feel a 'thump' from your blood vessels. This method will help keep the scent of the perfume last longer on the body and increasing the intensity of the scent. I spritz some on my wrists, neck, back of the ear lobe and inner elbows.

DO simple eye makeup

Be it a simple natural, thin eyeliner or a coat of waterproof mascara. These two (or one of them) helps me look awake in the morning and doesn't take up much time in my schedule.

Those are the things that helps me look and feel like a million dollars in the morning. Okay, maybe not a million dollars, but I feel great about myself. Share with me what you usually do in the morning for that extra pick-me-up!

  1. I never skip stretching before doing anything else after waking up. It brings back the blood flow and releases the contracted & stiffed muscles. Then i continue with jogging or swimming, not everyday tho, i decide to be lazy on weekends :)

Exercising always makes me feel good the whole day. And oh, bright outfits too. :)

    1. Ah, stretching is a good routine! I should start including those in my morning routine. Thank you for sharing! O(∩_∩)O
