I've already done a review and swatch of this product HERE. In short, it is a moisturizing hybrid between lip balm and a lipstick.
Available: LUSH counters or online
Price: SGD $9.90/100 g
I've already reviewed this as well, which you can check out HERE. In short, it's good for people with dry and sensitive skin type because it is a gentle exfoliator.
Available: Sigma Beauty
Price: USD $16.00
Available: Most drugstores in Singapore, not in Jakarta T_____T
Price: SGD $10.00 (I forgot the price, but it was around that range)
I know that this is just an ordinary makeup removing wipes, but it's different than the one I used. This has an exfoliating side, which has smal bumps on the surface. I like using the exfoliating part because I feel it removes my makeup a lot better than a usual cleansing wipes. However, that is just my personal opinion. ^_^
I've already done a review of this product, which you can check out HERE. It is an affordable face wash that cleanses and reduces excess oil, without making my face feeling tight or overly dry.
Available: Strawberry, Naughty, and those kinds of stores
Price: Rp 21,000 (I forgot the exact price)
That is all of my favorite beauty products this month. It sure has been a month of new discoveries and fun. I hope you all enjoyed this post and I'll see you in the next post. ^_^
I don't know if you can tell, but I love BB creams. Well, I think you can kinda tell, though, lol. Anyway, I found another BB cream to try out and it is from Garnier. I bought this while I was in Singapore a few weeks ago for that brief holiday. I've used it while I was there and when I visited Mr. G in Singkawang. After a long use, here is my review.
Available: At most Singapore drugstores. Sadly, it's still not available here T__T
Price: SGD $18.90 (prices may vary)
Size: 20 ml
I also notice reduced appearance of my pores, especially when combined with a primer beforehand. Oil control is quite impressive as it manages to keep all my excess oil at bay for nearly 3 hours, if used alone (without a primer). However, with most BB creams, it doesn't have the staying power of a foundation. On me, it only lasted a good 4 hours (when active or outdoors) or 6 hours (when inside an air-conditioned room) before fading away. Probably because I touch my face a lot. Sometimes, I even scratch it unconsciously, ^^;;.
Overall, I like the sheer coverage because I can use it on days when I don't feel like wearing any foundation, but still have an even skintone without any redness. Also, it is able to produce a fresh face in a minute, so I don't have to take a lot of time in the morning when I'm still sleepy. The sun protection it offers is quite impressive, having PA +++ and SPF 26. I would repurchase this when mine runs out.
Overall, I was quite impressed by this primer as it is able to give a semi matte finish, making me look fresh and not flat. My foundation performed better with this underneath as it provides a smooth layer, avoiding the foundation to sink into fine lines or pores.
One of the main reasons I went there is to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We have been going out for 8 years and are very grateful each and every second of it. So, I decided to spend it with him over at Singkawang. ^_^
By nightfall, it looked really beautiful and enchanted, like something from the movies. The walls are lined with LED lights, all brightly lit up in red. The lanterns from the Chinese new year is still hanging and brightly shining.
In the afternoon, we went to eat noodles for lunch at Bakmie Raos. I ordered the beef balck pepper hot plate noodles, while Mr. G got the meatball soup. The hot plate black pepper was so delicious, I love it~ You can really taste the black pepper and the beef portion is generous as well.
Mr. G took me to have dinner at Kampung Batu, which is not that far away from where I'm staying. It is definitely within walking distance, but the path there is a bit steep and uphill, so Mr. G suggested that we use a car. I didn't take a picture of the food because it was dark and the lighting was bad, so I thought I'd skip it.
The place kinda reminds me of Puncak, probably because of the weather, heights and city view. We ordered grilled chicken, fried calamari, and vegetables. It was really nice and romantic to have a quiet dinner in a restaurant near a mountain.
Anyway, when he had time, we went to Pontianak to stock up on a few things that he needed around his room. We bought a plastic cupboard, a small coffee table, and other household items.
During our trip to Pontianak, I just captured some of the mountain views, but other than that it's just a regular road. ^_^
I spend 5 days there with Mr. G and had a great time. I'll definitely come back, probably in 2 months time? Maybe then, I'll get to show you guys the tourism spots at Singkawang. See y'all later~!

However, I don't like how messy my shower looks after I use this. The oat grains fell off one by one, leaving a goopy mess all over the floor. So far, it hasn't clogged my drains yet, but I'll update you on that. Since I can't show you in pictures how creamy it is, I thought it would be helpful to do a demo. So, here are my chubby hands, performing a simple routine of handwashing (kinda). Enjoy~
Overall, I think this product is worth the money, considering it's only SGD $2.00. Unfortunately, it is not yet available in DAISO Jakarta, so I'll have to buy it from Singapore. I will definitely repurchase if I run out of it. I can see this becoming one of my must-haves beauty items in terms of skin care.
