Review: The Body Shop Aloe Calming Toner

I'm not usually a big fan of toners because I don't really find it useful, as it's only an extra step in cleansing your face. The purpose of a toner is mainly to remove any residual cleanser or dirt on the face after washing it. Hence, I rarely use them because I find my cleansers to clean my face throughly in the first place. This toner, however, serves a different purpose on my face.

The Body Shop
Aloe Calming Toner
Instantly calm your sensitive skin, while removing impurities and excess traces of cleanser, with a conditioning, alcohol-free toner.

Water, Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Pentylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Glycerin.

How I Use It
I soak a cotton pad with the toner and swipe it evenly all over my face.

What I Like About It
It's available in most TBS counters
It's price is affordable, IDR 109,000 for 200 mL
♪ The packaging made the product easily dispensed
There is no scent detected
It reduces redness on my cheeks
It doesn't contain any irritating ingredients
It keeps my skin moist and hydrated, even when I'm not using any moisturizer

What I Hate About It
Honestly, I can't really rant about this product.

  1. halo kak phanie, aku mau tanya nih. does this toner also suitable for oily skin? i want to dump my previous toner that contains alcohol and change into this. thanks in advance :)

    1. Hi, Harini~ Selama aku pake waktu itu sih kulitku juga lagi berminyak, jadi bisa aja, cuman ga memberi manfaat banyak seperti mengurangi minyak berlebih atau mengecilkan pori. Hanya memberikan efek segar aja sehabis cuci muka.

      Semoga menjawab ya~ ^_^
