Weekly Product Review: SKIN79 VIP Gold Collection Super Beblesh Balm (BB)

I have decided to do a segment called "Weekly Product Review" just like Ling from moonbeamstarlight, who is my favorite Youtuber, but hers is called Product of the week. Basically, every week (I'll try to do each Wednesday), I'll choose 1 product that I have been using throughout that week that has helped me in a way.

This week, I'm choosing a BB Cream that I had been using for the whole week and saved my skin during its 'flaky' days. Let me tell you first hand that I have oily/acne prone skin, so I rarely have any troubles flaking with dry patches of skin when it comes to applying makeup. However, the last two weeks had been such a disaster to me for some unknown reason. My oily skin have dry patches of flaky skin on the edges of my nose, cheeks, edges of my mouth and chin. I would apply a liquid foundation, but still shows the flakiness on those areas. I nearly gave up when I remembered that I have this on the back of my drawer and thought that it would probably be a good idea to use it since it was made for dry skin.

I was a bit skeptical at first because I never use products for dry skin in my whole life (EVER). After I applied it evenly all over my face, I noticed that there were no dry skin patches anymore. My bf even commented saying that my skin looked better now that it's not flaking and asked me what I used. I was quite surprised at his reaction because he never really is such a big observer of my skin.  I used this for around two weeks before writing a proper review on it.

SKIN79 VIP Gold Collection Super Beblesh Balm (BB)

  • Whitening
  • UV Protectiong SPF 25 / PA ++
  • Wrinkle Improvement

It's all written in Korea, so I really can't tell.

How I Use It
I squeeze a pea sized amount and dot it evenly on my whole face. Blend well with fingers.

What I Like About It
  • Since I got the small size tube, I can carry it with me everywhere I go for touch ups.
  • It doesn't have an offending smell
  • The texture goes very light on my face
  • It blends easily, even with fingers
  • It doesn't show my dry patches. LOVE! <3
  • It has SPF 25/PA ++
  • It gives a satin finish (between dewy and matte)
  • It lasted me for 6 hours on my face
  • It doesn't break me out

What I Hate About It
  • There is no color shade, which is typical for BB Creams. People with darker skin tone might not be able to use it as it will them a 'white cast' or 'ghostly looking' face
  • Oil control is minimum since this is for dry skin :p
  • I have to set this with powder, unlike the BB Lotion from Etude House. Then, again, this IS for DRY skin
  • I didn't see the claim of whitening and wrinkle improvement because maybe I have only been using it for 2 weeks. Perhaps, my mom should give this a try :p
